OVERVIEW

Lawlahsweets Bakery is a Nigeria based bakery. Aside from cakes they also have an online class where they teach people how to bake. They currently have more than 50 students from all over the world. They are looking for a way to expand their business online and get more people their unique recipe.

USER PERSONA

Tee is a baker, she usually goes online to search recipes to make her cakes and also take classes from time to time.

 

FRUSTRATIONS :There are different platforms on google for finding recipes, due to this overwhelming reason she eventually lose interest in finding the particular recipe because of the countless and different recipes online.

 

NEEDS: Kate needs one place to search for her perfect recipe, she needs an app on her phone that is user friendly and easy to navigate without being on the internet all day. 

 

CHALLENGE: How might we improve the experience with an emphasis on varieties  and ease of use?

 

SOLUTION: A Recipe mobile app that can be downloaded on phone could be an easy way for users to quickly browse and learn.

REFLECTIONS

There are multiple pages to keep the user engaged throughout the app: there is a also a feedback page and enquiry page to help the user interact with customer care and give feedbacks to help improve the app.

 

CONSIDERATIONS Now, to keep her attention, I think personalizing her experience with quizzes could be useful in determining her choice and  to help her better understand what she likes. Also, fleshing out the Find trending section to include more menus of the day.

 

TAKEAWAYS I understand that users want to know what is in their pastry, therefore including a recipe and ingredient section will help make the user journey smoother.
